Chawn enjoys giving back to her community and supporting organizations such as ALS, American Cancer Society, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Chess for Success, Lifeworks and volunteering at the Union Gospel Mission serving meals to the homeless and assisting with fund raising. She was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon and is an avid hiker loves the great outdoors and walking. She raised two beautiful daughters and has five grandchildren: an 18-year-old grandson, 13-year-old granddaughter, 11-year-old grandson, 10-year-old grandson and 2-year-old granddaughter.
